Extremely quick and quality service from Marian. The place was busy, but the moment the food came out we knew why. Nice location. It is worth it. An absolute must visit for a quick but hearty meal.

This restaurant is a great place for cheap pizza. The staff were great and the food was exceptional. The restaurant is quite busy, so it was very loud and there was a wait to get in.

Starter Italian cuts was good value and tasty; Mains pizza had a flavourful thin crust but with bare minimum of topping. Service was friendly but quite slow and not attentive at all. When bill finally came, it had a service charge added automatically. This was a rare time that I insisted that the charge be removed. Don't intend to return.

Desserts clearly shrank in size and increased in price. A few years ago, the slices were pretty big and now, they are literally tiny. My cake last time was a small square, I was very disappointed! If you increase the price, keep the same size at least. I still love the pizzas and drinks, it's a shame they try to save pennies on desserts.

Tried to get a reservation this evening and was told they couldn’t seat a table of 5 for 30 minutes, accepted and after walking around returned at the requested time, was sat at a standard table for 4 with a stool at one end for the addition, despite settings overlapping 🙄 asked to move yet despite larger tables sitting empty was advised we’d have to wait longer or stay where we were. Decided to go to McDonalds as I didn’t want to give them my money. Shame as we’d been previously when visiting Oxford and it was ok…won’t be returning 👎🏼

The Bath branch was much nicer. Very busy and humid inside, it felt like a pool changing room. Our pizzas also seemed like they'd been sitting out for a little while (not properly hot). There are simply too many tables in the restaurant and it's quite unpleasant when full.

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Franco Manca Oxford. I ordered a Parmigiana, expecting a rich, baked dish with layers of flavorful eggplant, tomato sauce, and cheese. What I got instead was a pile of boiled eggplant stacked on top of each other, drenched in a watery, tasteless sauce, with questionable melted cheese on top. It was utterly disappointing. To make things worse, I waited over an hour for a gluten-free pizza that was supposed to have burrata. Instead, it arrived with some sort of grainy ricotta-like substitute that tasted awful, alongside a thin, runny tomato sauce. The service was slow, the food was poorly prepared, and the overall experience was dreadful. Definitely not worth the price or the wait. Save yourself the disappointment and eat somewhere else.

Had the Amatriciana Pizza. Went at dinner time and they were too full (would have needed a reservation) so I got it for takeout. They were so fast, ready in less than 10 minutes.

I ordered via uber eats - the pizza was an hour later than initially promised (waited 1h50' in total) and it was cold, not even lukewarm when it arrived. Pizza was very good despite that. But not gonna order from there again

Front of house service was great. First glass of wine tasted like vinegar, replaced without question. Pizza dough was undercooked, wet, and like trying to cut rubber, no structure. Even the bubbly ‘crust’ was doughy with no air. I think it’s supposed to be similar to Neapolitan. Lack of flavour with the pizza. We were lucky, I noticed pizzas coming out after ours had very pale undercooked crusts. Customers were visibly struggling to cut the pizzas. Staff apologised for the food. We were en route so couldn’t wait for replacement food.

I don't usually leave bad reviews but my main course salad I ordered for delivery this evening was particularly abysmal. It didn't fill me up, there was hardly any protein or cabohydrate in it to achieve that, (I had a bowl of cereal afterward) and the chicken pieces were unidentifiable pieces (you know when you just can't tell what the heck it is you're eating). The lettuce was the "spikey" kind which I don't particularly like as well and drowned in balsamic dressing. Sorry to write this but it really was not good at all.

Appalling service. Terrible cooperation from the waiter when it came to getting the order right and when applying their advertised discount. Firstly they forgot one of my party's orders meaning he couldn't get his food before he had to leave to an event. To add when applying the advertised 5 pound pizza discount the waiter refused to acknowledge how many pizzas we bought and then refused to help resolve this issue. To be clear we redeemed 8 codes that would mean 8 discounts but apparently this was not apparent to the waiter. After trying to resolve this discrepancy the waiter said 'it wasn't her problem.' I would not recommend going here.
